Kenyan Board

The Kenyan board members

From left to right: Joyce Ogoma, Caroline Karani, Moses Arusa and Geoffrey Tumwa.

Geoffrey Tumwa: Geoffrey works at Moi University in the nearby city of Eldoret. He has been on the board since 2007 and his many years of experience with the project give him excellent perspective during discussions about new policies and directions for MCCH.

Moses Arusa: Moses is our centre manager at MCCH. He lives on site with his wife and children and is in charge of making sure things run smoothly. He stays in close communication with the Cahills while they are in Canada.

Joyce Ogoma: Originally from Tanzania, Joyce moved to Kenya when she married a Kenyan man. She joined the board in 2016 bringing along with her a rich history gathered during her ten years of working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). We are looking forward to hearing her fresh ideas.

Caroline Karani: Caroline joined our board in 2016. She works as a probation officer in Kitale where she spends a lot of time with troubled youth. This expertise is a valuable asset to MCCH as many of our children come from difficult pasts.
